San Francisco, CA
Mental-health worker and researcher training toward Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) licensure — humanistic, acceptance-based, and identity-affirming, grounded in clinical practice and research on resilience.
Unconditional positive regard, nonjudgment, and active listening — meeting people as the experts on their own lives.
Grounded in research on stress, trauma, and resilience, and in acceptance-based, mindfulness-oriented practice.
Affirming care attentive to how identity and marginalization shape distress, help-seeking, and coping.
Emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility as pathways toward resilience and meaningful change.
My approach
I draw on humanistic and acceptance-based traditions: people grow best when they feel genuinely met, not corrected. My work — clinical and research alike — centers emotional acceptance, identity, and the relationships and protective factors that build resilience.
